The jams that accompany the cheeses are prepared with care by mom Claudia: her specialties are onion and pepper jams, absolutely not to be missed. The cauldron for polenta is always present in our kitchen! Our menus also include other typical dishes such as gnocchi al bleu d’Aoste, crespelle alla valdostana or seuppa alla valpellinentse (soup made of cabbage, Fontina cheese, lard, broth and bread). As a main course, we offer polenta concia (polenta with melted Fontina cheese and butter) or with bleu d’Aoste cheese, carbonade, stew or porchetta (stuffed pig) with mountain herbs. Our Chef likes to revise traditional dishes in a modern way and will amaze you with his imagination.<\/p>\n

At the bar, in addition to the smile of our staff, you can find hot sandwiches or a tasty snack with homemade cakes and tarts at any moment. A stopover at the mountain hut even just for a nice aperitif: beers and local wines can be accompanied by our Aosta Valley selection of cold cuts and cheese.<\/p>\n
Even when, in the middle of the night, the alarm rings for mountaineers, our team works hard to serve them a breakfast with all the trimmings: orange juice, hot drinks, homemade cookies, yogurt, cereals, biscuits, bread, butter, honey and jams.<\/p>\n

On the upper floor, in addition to the winter room, there are the rooms and the bathroom: a 32-bed dormitory, rooms for 4 and 8 people and a room reserved for Alpine Guides, for a total of 86 beds. The bathrooms, equipped with a shower, are shared.<\/p>\n
In the summer, the shower is included in the price of the overnight stay, while in the winter, it is not available.<\/p>\n
