OVER bionaz
The Crête Sèche mountain hut is located 2,410 meters above sea level and boasts breathtaking views over the Bionaz valley: it is surrounded by the stunning Costiera dell’Aroletta and the long mountain chain that starts from Mont Crête Sèche, both characteristic for their jagged peaks. Starting point for climbing and mountaineering lovers in the summer season and ski mountaineering paradise in the winter, the mountain hut is also an ideal destination for hikers and families, being easily accessible with a two-hour walk.
Belonging to the Aosta CAI section, the first manager of the Crête Sèche mountain hut was Ettore Bionaz, a well-known mountain guide and Sophie’s grandfather who has been managing the refuge since June 2020.

Our large family consists of mom Claudia, dad Alberto and their four daughters: Daisy, Sophie, Martina and Kristel. Our family has always been passionate about the mountains and it has always worked in the field of tourism.
