How to get here
bionaz, aosta valley
FROM MILAN/TURIN
Highway A5, take the Aosta Est exit, towards Grand-Saint-Bernard, and, at the end of the two tunnels, take the first road to the right for Bionaz.
Continue along regional road 28, until you reach the municipality of Bionaz, and then turn to RUZ, where there will be a parallel parking.
FROM FRANCE
Follow in the direction of Aosta via the highway (take the Aosta West exit) or take the state road 26 until you reach the Parini hospital roundabout. From here follow the signs for the Grand-Saint-Bernard (ss27) and once you reach Variney, take the right and take regional road 28 to Bionaz.
FROM SWITZERLAND
Continue in the direction of Aosta for about 20 km, until you reach Variney, where you will turn right following the signs for Bionaz.
YOU CAN START FROM…
…From the Ruz car park, continue on foot along the farm road to the Berrier pasture, where you will find directions to the mountain hut. The path is traced and there are multiple signs.
Grade E; time required: about 2h.
… From the Les Crêtes car park, go up along the farm road and continue along the visible and signposted path (or along a section of VIA FERRATA), then arrive at the Berrier pasture and from there continue on the classic path.
